Plan your route to success
"If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there."
- Lewis Carroll
We believe this adage applies to many firms in our industry. Too often, firms continue down the road they have always followed without looking ahead to see where their path could go. MARKETLINK will facilitate a strategic planning process that allows your marketing staff and firm leadership the opportunity to participate as a contributor. Our approach includes asking the right questions that will help increase your bottom-line.
An architecture and interior design firm in the Intermountain Region was once the leader in educational facility design. Over the years, individuals with that expertise had left the firm and with management evolving, they lost the edge on the educational market. In fact, they only had a handful of recent remodel and addition projects. MARKETLINK was able to assist them with a strategy for gaining back a strong presence in this particular sector. MARKETLINK conducted several strategy sessions that resulted in a strategic alliance that included educational design partners in all areas of engineering construction, food service, planning, sustainability and bonding. The strategic alliance's marketing plan included name development, logo, letterhead, business cards, brochure, website development, public relations program, business development activities, market research and client relations.
LINK TO SUCCESS: MARKETLINK provided an opportunity for the alliance to exhibit at a statewide school boards convention. During a one-day conference, MARKETLINK scheduled appointments with four school districts that had upcoming bonds totaling $230 million worth of work and identified an additional three districts with upcoming work in the amount of $36 million. The following week the alliance was asked to propose on a new elementary school in a new geographic market.
"MARKETLINK assisted us in the development of our first strategic marketing plan. From our session together, we were able to determine what made our company unique and explore how we could market ourselves to separate us from our competition. We've employed some of their suggestions and it's been great to see the positive response from our current and targeted clients."
